Stephanie is the Communications Director responsible for promoting African Services' mission, programs and advocacy initiatives. She manages media relations and external communications with key constituencies, including the African immigrant community and its allies. She also develops health promotion materials and public outreach campaigns. In addition, Stephanie coordinates African Services' HIV Stigma Initiative that uses creative communication strategies to generate discussion, promote understanding, challenge discrimination and positively affect policy impacting people living with HIV and AIDS. Prior to joining African Services, Stephanie spent several years as a broadcast producer in New York City for two major advertising firms. In addition, she served from 2006 - 2008  as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching Small Business Development in Burkina Faso, West Africa. She has a degree in Corporate Communication and Film Studies from College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. She speaks English and French, as well as some Jula and Moore', and Spanish.
