Christine Chiu | Staff & Board


Christine Chu is a Legal Fellow, focusing primarily on advocating for immigration relief for persons who have experienced trafficking, domestic violence, HIV stigma, and other serious abuses. Christine received her J.D. from New York University Law School and her B.A. from Stanford University. Prior to joining African Services Committee, Christine worked as a grant writer at Human Rights Watch and as a Kigali-based Program Manager for Generation Rwanda. While in law school, Christine interned at the U.N. International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Tanzania and Platform for Labour Action in Uganda. She is a conversational French speaker.
