Aida Diallo-Diagne Print

Ms. Diallo-Diagne is the HOPWA housing coordinator assisting clients living with HIV/AIDS obtain permanent housing and coordinate their HIV care. She also facilitates African Services' client advisory board. Before joining African Services, Aida spent 15 years in the international travel business. She is a long-time resident and active member of the Harlem community and the owner of Proud Motherland, a store specializing in African art, on Frederick Douglass Avenue and 132nd Street. She has completed university coursework in Senegal, France and the United States. Aida is particularly interested is enhancing communication and understanding between the African immigrant and African American communities. Originally from Senegal, Aida speaks French, Wolof, English and some Portuguese.
