English as a Second Language Print

Our English as a Second Language program enables immigrants to develop the language and literacy skills they need to interact, engage and build opportunity for themselves and their families.

Classes are free and open to anyone seeking to improve English speaking and writing skills. The program is staffed by a team of ESOL instructors and volunteer tutors who provide individual support.

We have two different classes. One meets every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, and the other meets Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. When you register, you will be placed in the appropriate class. To register, come to African Services before class and speak with an instructor.
