African Services is the oldest African organization in New York City and the leading peer provider of health services to African immigrants in the US. Since 1981, we have worked with newcomers from across the Diaspora to address the needs in their communities and support their fight against HIV/AIDS.

Our staff represent more than a dozen countries and speak twice as many languages. They are available to speak about the African community in the US, immigration and health policy, and the impact of the global AIDS crisis around the world.

Press inquiries, contact Catharine Bufalino, director of communications, at (212) 222-3882 ext. 146.
