Food Pantry & Nutrition Program

Our food and nutrition program provides healthy groceries to families in need of supplemental nutrition and to all hungry, homeless, unemployed or underemployed residents of New York City.

African Services' food pantry serves over 4,500 people a year, many of them African and Caribbean immigrants and their families. Each visitor receives a one-week supply of fresh produce and non-perishable food items.

Throughout the summer, farm fresh fruits and vegetables are provided through our partnership with the Harlem Community Supported Agriculture Program.

Hours of Operation
Walk-in service is available Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

For more information, contact the Food Pantry Coordinator, at 212-222-3882 x116.
