Our Testing Center

African Services' on-site testing center is a resource for all New Yorkers in need of free and confidential testing for HIV, tuberculosis, hepatitis B and C, sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy.

Located at our offices in Harlem, the testing center is staffed by phlebotomists trained to provide screening, health education and supportive counseling in the language of each client. Referrals for free treatment and care are provided regardless of immigration status.

The testing center is vital gateway to health care for African immigrants and an important part of our HIV prevention programs, which emphasize the importance of knowing your HIV status and early intervention.

Hours of Operation:

The testing center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am; Monday until 4:30 pm. Testing is available on a drop-in basis, no appointment is necessary.

For information, contact Alice Clomegah, Testing Center & Early Intervention Coordinator, at 212-222-3882 x125.
