Ms.
Jimenez is the Housing Placement Assistant in African Services’ HOPWA
program. She is responsible for finding permanent housing for people
living with AIDS and assisting clients to understand their rights as
tenant. Irma joins African Services with experience as a medical
technician assisting in-patients at a rehabilitation center for drug
and alcohol abuse. She also worked as a rental specialist for BPC
Management in Brooklyn. As a long-time New York City resident, Irma
enjoys assisting new immigrants with practical information and advice.
Originally from Honduras, she is is fluent in Spanish and English and
currently learning French.
