Mr.
Cisse is a peer counselor working with HIV-positive clients to help
them access the care and support they need to build healthy and
productive lives. In the HOPWA program, he conducts home visits to
clients in our supportive housing program to help them maintain their
benefits. Ibrahima is also certified in HIV and tuberculosis counseling
and testing and has extensive experience providing medical
interpretation and hospital navigation for African patients. Ibrahima
first joined African Services as an outreach worker in 1993 and has
worked in programs across the agency. Originally from Cote d’Ivoire, he
speaks English, French, Mandingo, Fulani, Baolé, Senoufo and Wolof.
