Mr.
Ndiaye is an outreach worker providing HIV education and counseling,
referral to testing and medical interpretation for immigrants through
street and community contacts. Daouda first learned of African Services
when he attended one of the agency’s prevention workshops in September
2000 and felt he must join African Services to spread the HIV
prevention and care message. Daouda also conducts targeted outreach to
pregnant women by providing medical interpretation at the pre-natal
clinic at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital. He worked for over ten years as a
financial manager on various USAID health and population projects in
his home country of Senegal. Prior to joining USAID, Daouda worked for
five years as a Supervisor/Assistant Manager at VIM. He holds an MA in
technical management from the Technical University Institute of Dakar
and a BA in technical management from Delafosse Institute-Dakar. Daouda
speaks Wolof, French, Serere, English and some Spanish.
