Anthony Chaneyfield

Anthony is the housing placement coordinator in African Sevices' HOPWA program assisting HIV-positive clients to achieve permanent and sustainable housing. He manages emergency transitional and permanent housing placement, short-term rental assistance, and applications to the Sustainable Living Fund. He also works closely with the family case management and legal services programs to help eligible clients apply for long-term benefits, including HASA. Anthony began working in the social service field in 1993 as a site manager for an intensive care facility and went on to be a residence manager in a scattered site housing program, funded by DASIS (HASA), that provides housing to people living with HIV/AIDS. He acquired over 300 units in his ten years there. Anthony is currently pursuing his CASAC-T diploma as a first step toward a degree in social work.
